Job Description:
Top Duties and Qualifications A Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting business operations by ordering products or materials needed.
Their duties include helping purchasing department with maintaining relationships with Suppliers, Vendors or Wholesalers, placing orders for products based on current inventory needs and tracking shipments.
Purchasing Coordinator duties and responsibilities Purchasing Coordinator must maintain good relationships with the organization's vendors.
They ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
Purchasing Coordinator duties:
Working with the purchasing/pricing departments to accomplish tasks as needed.
Generating purchase orders, reviewing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase/pricing records Keeping computer system up to date with latest info from vendors including product updates, pricing and etas Working with customers and office staff to keep them notified of material status.
Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies Answering phones and helping purchasing/pricing department and other staff with other general office duties Job Type:
