This role provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES Perform track and go-kart repairs and performance checks Maintain go-kart performance Train Go-Kart Staff and Mechanics to Urban Air Standards Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the attraction(s) in superior working order Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory Responsible for maintaining weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedules on all equipment and ensure schedules are carried out Responsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all staff follows all safety rules Maintain a supply of tools and machinery Ensure the go-kart pit, go-kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe Assist the staff with track operations Perform facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Read, interpret diagnostics from manuals Accept other maintenance duties to include, but are not limited to, building maintenance and help with general maintenance of other attractions Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED); auto mechanic technical training or six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have previous management experience Weekends are a must! Mechanical repair experience in the go-kart, golf kart or motorcycle field preferred Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and repairs Experience using multi-meter to check continuity - checks fuses and batteries Ability to read and understand technical manuals PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions Move about facility and stand for long periods of time (over 2/3 of the time) Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling Requires ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
