Summary:
PDS Industries is seeking an Engineering Technical Assistant to join our team.
This position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for our manufacturing Engineering Department.
Duties and Responsibilities Generate request for quotes to vendors through the ERP system.
Review drawings for items to be quoted.
Generate spreadsheets based on items for quoting, including materials and outside services.
Assist in generating purchase orders for subcontracted services, materials and company's designed tooling/fixturing.
Update fabrication procedure documents with revised procedures and drawings for release.
Review tech packages to original and highlight changes.
Education and Experience Requirements Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with customers, vendors and employees.
Substantial working knowledge of Microsoft applications is required.
Must be dependable and have good communication skills.
